This was some tips I found on the web, which I agree with in designing a brochure:

Use Upper and lower case ALL CAPS GET lower response:
    > Use boldface type sparingly to emphasize key points or headlines.
    > Avoid using reverse text – many readers overlook reverse text.
    > Increased leading (space between text lines) improves readability.
    > Keep text lines short.
    > Increased leading (space between text lines) and character spacing, this improves readability.
    > Leave adequate margins on all four sides of your piece.
    > Use color ink for your brochure to increase response.
    > Write about benefits to the customer.
    > Keep the customer in mind use you and your avoid we, us, I, our.
    > Use key words New, Free, Save, Now, Easy, Proven, Amazing
    > Avoid clichés and trendy jargon.
    Promote your company:
    > Include a brief company history.
    > Include testimonials or a client list.
    > Promote your products
    > Promote service and warranty, guarantee.
    > Avoid listing product prices and / or pictures of your staff.
    > Include your contact information.
    > Ask someone who knows little or nothing about your business to tell you about your brochure.

thank you all for the latest designs. I was brainstorming with some of the staff, and we would like to see if you can add photos of places rather people, or objects rather than people. Also we would like to see a brochure in which the different colors are used in conjunction with our logo colors. Also can anyone also include the inside of the brochure, we currently have only the outside but we would like to get an idea of what the inside would look like. Thank you.

    hello everyone,
I have increased the prize amount to $500. While some of the designs are good, I'm still looking for something eye catching and unique. Something that our target audience will see and want to read. Some designs are based around our logo, which is very good, but would like to have some other styles mixed in with the logo, same thing about our corp. colors. I would hope that someone creates something that catches my eye as well as other members of our company. Thank you.

looking for a brochure that is a little modern, clean looking, easy to read. I have uploaded our old company brochure which outlines all of our business, just need a brochure that outlines our investment services side of the business but a little more up to date on style and graphics. Thank you.

Actually Danny you can visit our website at www.dacafg.com and look at the financial planning tab and you can use some of the text there. Thank you.

    Hi Danny,
I think AI would be the best format since I can edit text from there. Our content has not been developed yet, but I can upload our old brochure which outlined all of our business not just the investment portion. We have to create a separate brochure for our investment services part of our business. Thank you
