This logo should make people think "databases".
Ideally it would represent many databases working together, or one database controlling and communicating with many other databases, but that might be too much to convey with a simple picture.
This logo will be for an open source database program called Method5. Method5 works with Oracle databases. The program lets Database Administrators use SQL to query and control hundreds of databases at the same time. The website is http://method5.github.io/

Red should probably be one of the main colors. (This program only works on Oracle databases, and Oracle-related products typically use red.)

Maybe a stack of databases could spell out "Method5" or just "M5"? (But that might look too "busy".)
Or maybe something representing databases working and communicating with each other.
