  Thanks for the comment about the old sony logo. It is a little simular. As for explaining modo. Well in short it was a nick name my auntie gave me when I was little. Sadly she passed away a few years ago now, so its kind of a tribute to her, and a good luck thing. Maybe she'll help make the business a success. I wanted a name that was short and sweet, easy to say/spell and remember. Modo studio was born!

  I'm not sure if anyone reads the comments, but if you are reading i seem to be getting a lot of logo designs with a symbol created around the letter m. I'd like to see some NEW ideas. Try creating a new symbol or object. It could be something unique/abstract, but i'd prefer to see something computer/design based. thanks to all!!

  Ok, I have extended the contest, guaranteed it, and raided the piggy bank and increased the prize money to $350! That's every penny! I really am looking for something special! I myself am i graphic/website designer, and have struggled to create my company logo for months now! So i am looking to you my fellow designers, for inspiration! Shortly i will be uploading logos that i like, and will review the design brief again, so make sure you check for updates.

  Only 5 hours left! Come on guys and girls! I'm still looking for something industry oriented. Logos we like include, subway, breo, funs.ru, vivid ways, noor fashion and accessories, if i think of any more, ill share them with you.

  also, i'd like to stress that although the original brief was to create a funky logo, we still need to be corporate. Maybe a little more serious than many of the current designs.

  Just an idea, but could someone try making a symbol "m" out of a computer mouse? I'm thinking 2 mouse buttons, and a wheel in the middle maybe??

  Today is the last day, so a big thank you to everyone that has got involved. I’ve still not found a winning design! Please keep trying! I’d like to see more icon/symbol ideas. Remember we are a design and development company! Think creative, graphics, and computers! I’d also like to see more creativity with the fonts used. We are really looking towards a web style logo.   An update for anyone designing, I would like to see a some website logos, more styles, maybe even 3d illustarted objects. The letter M cut into a globe or something. I'd also like to see some options with a strapline "website design & development studio".

  Logoon is winning so far, but it's very early days! I like how Logoon has manipulated the font to make it personal. Although i feel the M needs to be stronger, as it currently has a wobbly leg. I'm open to all design concepts and colours! One thing i will stress is that i am hoping for an icon/symbol/mascot something unique to our brand, yet industry oriented! I would like to see a bit more design/style, the designs so far would be ok for printed materials, but the website logo could be a little more eye catching. A big thank you in advance to anyone that takes time to have a go!
