We focus on developing vibrant communities where emerging leaders inspire and create sustainable social change. We do this by igniting leadership through education and empowerment. As an organization, we value learning, equality and social justice. We value all levels and forms of education – from academic to peer mentoring to HIV/AIDS sensitization, and achieve our goals with university scholarships and social action workshops and training

We want this to include a Map of Sierra Leone...We can provide the existing logo when the project is live. It must be positive and uplifting. It should look good in grey scale as well.

We don't want to see hands or anything to do with the traditional poverty alleviation type graphics.

Competition is over and a lot of very great concepts submitted...we will make a decision over the next few days so many thanks to all the designers for their time and for responding to all our comments and suggestions - best of luck...

Very lose to making a decision folks...about 4 designers and their work are in contention. have made last comments and will see what the responses are before we decide what to proceed with...14 more hours and a new designer could still show up so lets go folks...

Some folks are getting closer ...not quite there yet and all have at least one element we like...remember - recognizable, corporate, required colors, focus on TPFSL, looks good in black 'n white

To all designers - I have sent this message to some of you privately but wanted to again point out (as per my posts of July 16) that the map is desired but not mandatory...I am looking for a very corporate and slick logo with no clip art, parent and child or love type graphics. The logo should clearly represent the write up I submitted in the gig instruction...Education, empowerment, respect etc...

Overall so far the concepts have not been of the quality I am looking for. I advise designers to just keep it modern with an abstract / solid / metallic. The message of the education has to come out clearly especially education, leadership or empowerment. Project also has to look good in black and white or greyscale...
