I am liking the direction this is going as indicated with designs rated with 4 stars - The Academy Director will be considering all designs and making a final decision at the conclusion of the time period. We appreciate all your thoughts and designs. The final logo will eventually be made into a patch and sewn onto a uniform (Again see Chelsea Reference in earlier comment). We will also be using logo to put on other items such as Training Jerseys / Sweatshirts / Hats etc... Some of which the sewn on patch would work - others will have to made into Plastisol Heat Transfers / or Silk Screens.

I am liking the direction this seems to be heading. - 17,18,19,21,22!! All good!! This may sound odd as we do not have a mascot or animal associated with it - but if you can think of any type of "crest" or symbol that could possibly work into the concept replacing the soccer ball that would be interesting to see. For example if you look at the Chelsea (English Premier Club) - I am sure there is a reason behind symbol on their crest - but looks good. The academy director is also a head coach for a college soccer team that has a cougar as a mascot – Misericordia University- check it out on the web. This academy will have loose affiliation (through him) to University. I am not sure I would like the modern looking cougar they have - where as the Chelsea logo is mythical cat like in nature. Also something of interest to me - Misericordia University officially changed its nickname to the Cougars in January, 1987, because it is a highland animal, thus providing some continuity with Misericordia’s former nickname, the Highlanders. I like the concept of Highlander as the Academy Player is in learning phase before they get to where they are going. Highlander came before Cougar. Could we include "Highlanders" name somewhere on Crest with Mythical Cougar? Perhaps I am overthinking –

    I like #5 better than #3 - not so much for #4

Draft #3 - I like the groundwork for this as its simple - perhaps good letterhead etc - Perhaps my category I picked was not correct - as Im also thinking what would something like this look like on a embroidered or sewn on a uniform. draft #3 could definitely be screen printed though-
