Modern Logo for a Church

Calvary Chapel Brentwood

No

Our church is in the process of re-branding. When our church initially started the demographic was 40-60 yr olds. Over the last 2 years it has changed to a "younger" church with a demographic primarily of 20-40.

We want a fresher/ more modern take on the dove that is currently in our logo. This dove is used by the majority of Calvary Chapel churches across the nation and has been a part of Calvary Chapel logos since the late 60's, early 70's.

It is obviously dated. We want to incorporate it in some way in our re-brand, but need it to be done so it a more modern way.

We are also okay with seeing a few options where "CB" (our abbreviation) is incorporated.

You can learn more about our church and see our current logo at:

We use more earthy tones: blues, greens, tans and browns. However, we are fine seeing it and black and white first and then nailing down the colors.

We 100% already know what we want the font of our logo to be and the organization of it to be. To see what I am referring to, please see the current logo set-up (not font!) at:

calvarybrentwood.org

"Calvary Chapel" on one line and "Brentwood" right justified or centered on a line under it.

We want the font for both of those lines of text to be LOWERCASE and to be in the CORBERT font.

Hi- We are NOW also open to see some "out of the box" designs that do not incorporate a dove in any way----just in case we decide to go that route. We still would like the colors and the font used to be those that are listed in the Design Brief. For the church abbreviation, it is CCB (not CB) as listed in the design brief. Thanks! Laney
