Describe who/what this design is about

UVU stands for You Vs You. My belief in terms of fitness or getting fit is that You are your own biggest opponent. I believe that it is up to You to overcome that negative voice in your head that says You cannot do it, but I will be there along the way to help my clients improve and reach their fitness goals. I would like my logo to represent strength, discipline, commitment, and hard work.

What colors would you like?

Mainly black with orange accents

How many colors do you want in your design?

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

I would like it to be symmetrical in shape (UVU). However I would like the left side to be a little bit smaller and plain black while the right side is a little bit larger and accented with orange. I would like this to signify the left side being U how your are right now, and the left side being U after we're done being fitter, stronger, faster, healthier. I would really like a modern, sleek feel that portrays strength.

On the right track with #25 however the hat on the V makes it look like it has to do with school rather than fitness. If it could be more fitness oriented that'd be great. I also like the circular background in #14. I never pictured that idea at first but i like it, the smaller half black circle with the larger half orange.
