Creative Brief

Redesign of Cognitive Behavioral Learning Logo

for substance use

Yes

The the logo that we are providing ( file attached) needs to be redesigned to reflect the change in our name from CBE( Cognitive Behavioral Education) to CBL ( Cognitive Behavioral Learning).
Please, review the file carefully. We are open to complete redesign as well, but we really do like the original too. If you are considering a completely new design, please, have in mind that we cannot have any reference to hospitals and medical treatment, we like the colors that the current logo is using and we do not want any images/drawings of people included in the logo design.

Let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
SJR

Hello everyone, Thank you for participating in the contest! We appreciate your work and creativity. Unfortunately, we don't have a favorite of the designs submitted so far and that is the reason why we would like to change the requirements for the logo. 1. You can create your own version of the logo. Do not use the original files that were submitted ( we removed them from the contest today)! We believe that allowing you to be more creative without these constraints will results in more creative designs, something that we are not seeing right now. 2. You can create your own version of the logo, however, you have to follow the guidelines: - include the words "Cognitive Behavioral Learning" (one color) and "for substance use" ( different color). -You can include the abbreviation CBL or not, it is up to you. - You have to include the three flames somewhere in there ( the file only with the flames will be provided shortly). If you have any questions, please, don't hesitate to contact us. SJR

Thank you for your submissions! We reviewed the designs this morning and there are a couple of points that we would like to emphasize/clarify: - please, avoid changing the flames' shape/number - Apply gradient to the CBL abbreviation - Stick to traditional ( Serif ) fonts for the text under the logo. - You can use different colors as well So far all of the submissions are very similar as a design. We would like to see more creativity. Thank you, SJR

Thank you very much for your submissions to date. We provided the previous logo as an example of a clearly defined, balanced, and unique design but don’t constrain yourselves to fit that design concept. If you would like to submit an entirely new concept using CBL, please do so. We are looking for a logo using “CBL for substance use” with the flames incorporated into the design that fits the image of a research based program. CBL, or Cognitive Behavioral Learning, is a research based, results oriented, voluntary educational method and we need a logo that fits and/or depicts that scientific, rational based nature. Thank you for your continued efforts. SJR
