The Highs and Lows of a Graphic Design Career

By Kathleen Burns , May 1 2014

Anyone who’s ever said graphic designing is a glamorous job with high pay, has not surely said it in front of a core graphic designer, or he/she would have been punched in the face. It’s true, graphic designing is neither about glamor (admittedly true in exceptional cases like those who work in art studios) nor highly paid.

Sadly, in today’s digital age, where graphic designers are a dime a dozen, these creative buffs have to shoulder their way through a multitude of competition not only locally, but internationally as well. Some survive and come out victorious, others merely fall back to the category of blue collar workers slaving behind a white collar job title. But then hey somebody’s got to do dirty work! In this infographic, you will get to know how low and dirty graphic designing can get.
