As long as you  pay, the search engine will send traffic to your website. When you pull the  plug, aka stop PPC money flow, traffic drops like a hot brick.<\/p>\n<h2>Organic Vs. Paid Traffic<\/h2>\n<p>Now that stats and  definitions are out of the way, let\u2019s dive into the heart of the matter \u2013 SEO  vs. PPC. Actually, there is no such thing as \u201cversus\u201d (gasp!) but we\u2019ll touch  on that later. Even after you make sure your content is right, keywords are  optimized, website tweaked for user experience, it\u2019d be days, if not weeks,  before you get to know if you\u2019re on the right track or not.<\/p>\n<h2>Cost<\/h2>\n<p>No matter how much  you put in your SEM strategy the heart of the matter lies in the cost involved.  SEO vs. PPC in its  basic essence is cost vs. time. So the question is what are you willing to  spend, time or money? There is no correct answer of course.<\/p>\n<p>With SEO you have to spend time, effort, technical resources (web  designer, developer, SEO expert). The margin for return is less  where PPC is concerned. Since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brightedge.com\/resources\/research-reports\/content-optimization\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">40 percent of online revenue<\/a> is captured by organic traffic, the obvious  choice is SEO.
