\u201cHelvetica Through the Day<\/a>\u201d by Sneha Keshav<\/a><\/p>\n

Ah, Helvetica.\u00a0 Could you be<\/i> a more controversial font in the world of design?\u00a0 Well, whatever people think about you, Sneha Keshav certainly looked at you with a different perspective.\u00a0 Throughout a given day, he monitored the shadows your letters cast and found new, interesting variations of you.\u00a0 Maybe Keshav experimenting with your form can convince people to see you in a new light\u2026or maybe this project\u2019s just really fascinating, and nothing about you changes.<\/p>\n

\"Appetype<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cAppeType<\/a>\u201d by Pragun Agarwal<\/a>\u00a0and Jyothi Iyer<\/a><\/p>\n

Feast your eyes on Pragun Agarwark and Jyothi Iyer\u2019s spin on the phrase \u201ceat your words.\u201d\u00a0 This typervention project combines a love for cuisine and typography by arranging foods into the letters of the mash-up word \u201cappetype.\u201d\u00a0 Another clever little piece of this project involves the foods going from breakfast to dinner foods in left-to-right order.\u00a0 Bon appetype<\/i>!<\/p>\n

\"Bricks<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cBricks + Type<\/a>\u201d by Sanchit Sawaria<\/a><\/p>\n

Sanchit Sawaria describes his project \u201cBricks + Type\u201d as \u201cmanual labour\u2019s cry,\u201d and the labour that went into this project definitely shows.\u00a0 A staggering 7000 bricks were stacked, arranged, and then painted to form a powerful message: \u201cHard work pays the rich.\u201d\u00a0 Considering that the photos depict a mere handful of individuals putting this installation together, the message of \u201cBricks + Type\u201d is all the more effective and chilling.<\/p>\n

\"Mimpara<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cMimpara Cinacalcet Calendar<\/a>\u201d by Sabeena Karnik<\/a><\/p>\n

Paper cutout typography is Sabeena Karnik\u2019s specialty, and no project showcases her skills better than \u201cMimpara Cinacalcet Calendar.\u201d\u00a0 The images used for the calendar are the first letters of each month (in Italian), and every letter is matches the colors and moods associated with each month.\u00a0 You\u2019ll never find two letter \u201cTs\u201d or \u201cFs\u201d with the same design in Karnik\u2019s portfolio, and we think her dedication to changing things up each time is incredible!<\/p>\n

\"Living<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cLiving Typography<\/a>\u201d by Nishant Jethi<\/a><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a nifty project for you.\u00a0 Nishant Jethi noticed that house sparrows were losing places for nesting and breeding to land development.\u00a0 So what did he do?\u00a0 He built a series of birdhouses in the shapes of letters and numbers!\u00a0 He also encouraged people to use the birdhouses in creative ways, such as house numbers.\u00a0 It\u2019s such a simple idea, but the practicality of this typography project really goes a long way!<\/p>\n
