Describe who/what this design is about

Alford Termite & Pest Control Inc. our main business name. We have a couple of divisions within our company. (Alford Cleanspace and Alford Construction & Insulation) We would like to have a logo that is transitional throughout each division. Alford is the name we really want to brand or even the "A" if it looks good. If the logo has the Alford or "A" incorporated in it and then change it up a little to show the other divisions.

Of designs #1-#4 I like #2 so far because Alford is prodominate. I'm looking to focus the logo on Alford or the letter "A". I am also interested to see if the same Alford or A could take on the other division names as well. (Alford Cleanspace and Alford Construction & Insulation)
