I am a 3 time world BBQ champion. My business will be primarily catering and BBQ contests and eventually bottling my own sauces and spice rubs. I also sell BBQ supplies and professional grills.

Make it feel very southern without being country. No rebel flags please! I’m trying to create a long-term brand. My idea is of a southern live oak with really gnarly branches and a pig grazing under the tree. But please use your imagination and surprise me with some designs.
Another alternate idea that I would consider we be a logo that would incorporate the butchers pig illustration in a professional, arty, design. (possibly French style)

These past few are getting better. There's still something about it that doesn't seem as polished as it should be. Good effort, but I'm still a no on most of these. The tree is close, but probably needs to look a little more gnarly and be a touch more open. The pig is really bugging me, but the concept is close to my alternate idea. I'd like the colors to be a bit more enticing as well.

****After seeing the designs submitted up to this point, I would like to refer back to my second idea of the southern live oak tree with sprawling branches with a pig standing near by. This design would NOT be cartoonish at all, but more classic. My first idea simply is not going in the direction that I want. Keep in mind, that I am trying to create a brand. Thank you for your submissions!

Clearly my design idea has proven to be too difficult, so I would also consider a more classy design. Something still very southern. My other idea was a live oak with sprawling branches in a grass field with a silhouette of a pig standing in the field. If the second idea is used I would eliminate the tag line.
