Describe who/what this design is about

Hilarious Me (www.hilariousme.com) is the premier online destination for real news and 'not real but adjacent' news stories with a bitterly satirical spin. We are an 'aggravated aggregator', the central repository of random nonsensery and pointed dissections of popular culture from around the world.

The website is the first step of a company that will produce merchandise, characters for licensing, and an online web series. The logo will be used in all of these capacities for branding purposes.

General note: There are many submissions with a 'swoosh'. Some I like (e.g. the ones that look like a smile). some I don't (e.g. the ones that look like the Nike swoosh). I would like to see some other abstract images besides a swoosh in the short time that's left. Thanks!

some of the drafts that ive eliminated are goofier than what im looking for, more appropriate for a company aimed at a site or product for kids vs. adults (e.g. drafts #8/9, 4/5). very creative though.

All, I'm really looking for a symbol to go along with the 'Hilarious Me' name. If there is some way to incorporate a symbol in your submission (e.g. draft #'s 6 and 7) without it looking too busy, that would be great.
