Business logo-insignia for Military Leadership Training Program

Captains of God

Yes

“Captains of God” is a Coaching Ministry that teaches and trains men into becoming leaders; and the ones already in leadership are pushed beyond thier limits, in able to withstand the rigorous demands upon them in the 21st century.
Our target: men form 18 up
We go from one-on-one coaching sessions, small groups, to Senior level corporate coaching sessions.
The "look & feel" is based upon the Navy Seals, elite military unit within the Special Operations Community. http://www.sealswcc.com/

The "Lion" (logo-insignia) must symbolize the true spirit within a Man. His real heritage, his position, who he is, and his purpose.
There are four parts of the "Lion":
1) Lion: Symbol of strength, power, rulership, authority. It must be in action, showing courage, dominion, power.
2) Sword: The Word of God, our weapon of conquest, the truth. A typical roman two-edged sword
3) Cross: Symbolizes love, commitment, passion, grace. A Christian cross, however it must not show religiousness.
4) Shield: Symbolizing faith, persistence, patience, courage

i.e.
NAVY SEALS
INSIGNIA: “TRIDENT” (Google: "Navy Seals Trident" for images)
It symbolizes that Navy SEAL's are brothers in arms - which they train together and fight together. There are four parts to the Trident. Each one symbolizes an important facet of the warfare community.
1) The anchor symbolizes the Navy, the parent service, the premier force for power projection on the planet and the guarantor of world peace. However, it is an old anchor, which reminds the SEAL's that their roots lie in the valiant accomplishments of the Naval Combat Demolition Unit and Underwater Demolition Teams.
2) The trident, the scepter of Neptune, or Poseidon, king of the oceans, symbolizes a SEAL's connection to the sea. The ocean is the hardest element for any warrior to operate in - it is the one in which SEALs find themselves the most comfortable.
3) The pistol represents the SEAL's capabilities on land - whether direct action or special reconnaissance. If you look closely, it is cocked and ready to fire and should serve as a constant reminder that SEALs must be ready at all times.
4) The eagle, the nation’s emblem of freedom, symbolizes the SEAL's ability to swiftly insert from the air. It reminds them that they fly higher in standards than any other force. Normally, the eagle is placed on military decorations with its head held high. On the SEAL insignia, the eagle's head is lowered to remind each of us that humility is the true measure of a warrior's strength.

not sure

It must have the look & feel of the military.
NOT the typical "Crusade-era" shield, lion, cross, sword type. It must be modern, fresh, clean, original. I've got a powerpoint presentation with several military logos, lions, and ideas that will help and give you a head start for what we're looking for. Like for intance, I've seen A LOT of logos of lions, and I've chosen the ones that could be candidates (to give/for IDEAS ONLY).

ON PAGE 10, 3RD ROW, MIDDLE, OF THE ATTACHMENT I SENT THERES A BADGE OF AN EAGLE AND BEHIND IT THERE'S LIKE A "CYBER-WORLD". PLEASE USE IT AS A REFERENCE OF THE BADGE WE WANT. THE EAGLE HOLDING A SHIELD WITH SWORDS, THUNDER, AND A KEY, WOULD BE OUR LION WITH THE SHIELD, SWORDS, CROSS. JUST INCORPORATE IT TO THE REST. NOT SAYING FOR YOU TO COPY IT, BUT IT'S SOMETHING WE REALLY LIKE.

Guys nice to see that you are on an "inspiration and creativity" roll! Keep it up! As you can see, thinking out of the box, the conventional, putting your design style brings works of art! My advice, don't stop, send what you have and we'll work on it!

Guys, I think that the shield-cross-sword part has already been accomplished, with the creativity and style of each one of you. However the lion is still in a "fisrt phase" process. With that in mind, I will extend the project so we can work and get it done perfect.

Nikola, take the lion out of the shield. Make it BIGGER, more modern, clean, not so classic. Use draft 15-16 to do the changes. Good designs!

Guys and gals you're doing a GREAT job, keep it up! I don't think that you can get a design with just one proposal, or just a couple of reviews and comments, because we're two minds completely different trying to express ourselves by a written channel... it's almost impossible. ALMOST! Looking forwar for your next design!

Studio 10 draft#8 THX for your design. You missed two elements the sword and the cross. Let's focus first on the "lion" (lion sword cross shield) design and then we put the phrase. The application where captains of God is written does not really convince me.

The "cross-shield" I'm talking about thats in the presentation is the one that "cuts" the shield almost in the middle, colored gray and is kind of 3d. A quick thought: Since the lion represents each and everyone of us, and the sword, shield, and cross are elements he uses, maybe he has to be outside the elements.... I don't think like a lion USING the sword shield and cross, like cartoon type, but the elements being there with him... Please give me retro!

First of all thanks for for your interest in this project. I'd like to comment with a general perspective on the first 4 designs (1-4). I don't want this to be the "typical" lion cross sword shield type of logo. I want for you to stretch your imagination, think out of the box, push your creative gift more. Although they're very good designs, we're looking for uniqueness, modern, "clean", lion, shield, cross, sword. In the presentation I attached, there's a couple of lions, like traces of them, in orange and red colors, they're in a highlighted box. There's also cross integrated with a shield, in gray, very modern, clean. Maybe the lion doesn't not have to be in the shield... Just a suggestion. I think there's are two steps: FIRST have the lion-shield-cross-sword designed and from there go to the SECOND to integrate the "words" and the badge where the "lion" will go. PLEASE it's one thing that I have the idea in my head and another one is for me to express the idea and for you to get the idea. Feel free to contact me ASAP for retrospective or whatever you need that will be productive and save time. Thx
