Home Town Real Estate of Canon City (~ over the n in Canon)

primarily to go into the website near the top (header). http://www.hometowncanoncity.com/

This site is being redesigned completely. The only constraint is that something from the house on the left should be used (roof line for example). The new backgrounds likely will be light colored and friendly.

We are a small independent company.

probably use some of the colors in the house design shown on the website. http://www.hometowncanoncity.com/ We're probably going to have more of a light blue in the background.

Don't let the house control you but take a look the front porch and maybe some element of that may be good. We are expecting to see the name of the business with the design element above it or possibly imbedded in it.

We eliminated a few designs this morning so we could focus on the look we're more interested in. We would like for everyone to look at the colors in this site. http://templatic.com/demos/?theme=realestate We like a nice soft background in this. JoAnn likes the deep "fall" colors (burnt orange, deep green) but wouldn't mind some gold and possibly a touch of blue. The only thing she didn't like about the background is she feels it is a bit "dirty" looking. We are currently thinking the logo may drive some of the other colors in our website and those could also include some blue and some deep burgundy. We apologize for any confusion on colors. We're in a redesign mode for the website and have been in a state of flux. One thing we noticed in a few logos not submitted so far is that sometimes you can see a bit of green below the logo somewhere that could depict grass. Thanks very much to everyone. Everyone is doing wonderful work.

#11 is too "big city" or corporate looking. We need small town, friendly in the design and the fonts.

#10 really like the simplicity and capturing our roof lines. JoAnn suggests looking at the fonts in our current website and trying out some different ones than the ones you have. We need fun and friendly and inviting fonts. #9 really like the fact that some of our buildings look has been captured but too much of the actual building. I really like the roof lines that you have captured at the top but that might even be a bit much. Mainly we want the steeper pitch and some sort of reflection of what our building looks like (not necessarily a replica). #7 really like the different roof line but the look and fonts needs to be a bit more friendly and fun! #8,6,5, 3,2. take a look at our buildings roof lines (steeper pitch, etc) #4..on to something.

all of the roofline ideas are coming along nicely and we appreciate them very much. Before we totally go this direction, we're just checking to see if anyone would like to take a stab at doing something with the porch in a design. You can see it at this page on the website http://www.hometowncanoncity.com/our-office

The designs by Chely, Creative Temp, and five5 are more in the ballpark for what I'm looking for. I asked about colors and the ladies at the office said they liked the color palette in this following website. Nice soft colors, natural tones. Thanks much for the efforts. I'll run these past the ladies. http://templatic.com/demos/?theme=realestate

I'm not crazy about the first submission (draft # 1). It is too modern and abstract. We need something that is more small town, old fashioned, traditional. Things that come to mind for me are impressions of gates with welcome signs, front porches, lawns, trees, roof lines with a taller pitch, that sort of thing. We will need to see the entire name of the business also as this will go on the top of the webpages. The font would need to be more casual and friendly also.
