Creative Brief

Diesel & Dirt

Diesel & Dirt

Cures the Hurt

No

The logo is to be used on t-shirts that will initially be marketed to young college men and later to farmers and bikers or anyone who loves the outdoors in conjunction with diesel vehicles. This is derived from my husband who when he has had a bad day climbs on his tractor and plows at our farm, hence his motto, Diesel & Dirt Cures the Hurt.

We are looking for the representative character to be an older model tractor which we believe should be red. Additional color suggestions would be shades of brown, yellow/golds or even greens.

We are thinking about having a "dust cloud" coming off the word "dirt" in the logo. I would also like to incorporate the tractor in the word "Diesel" but that may be too much and make the disign too busy and distracting. I would like to see some fade of colors but we are open to suggestions.

Announcement: Project Holder has not selected a contest winner within 15 days, therefore MycroBurst will announce the winner and award prize according to "MB Contest Policy". We are proud to announce “Soegeng" for his draft #52 as the winner of this contest. All of the designs submitted were good, and it was hard to pick the winner/s. Good Luck in your next contest!

I appreciate all the recent designs but I am still feeling that what I am seeing is just too cartoon like. This is a t-shirt line that initially going to be marketed to preppy, fraternity college kids. Hopefully this helps. Thanks

Thank you for all the recent designs submitted. I did want to indicate that I am looking for something that is not cartoon like. It needs to be very eye catching and sophisticated at some level and yet simple. I appreciate the attempts at the tractors and the older models are what I am looking for. Please no not include "cures the hurt" in our logo, that is part of our logo but should not be included in the design. Also, I looking for the tractor to be incorporated in the wording design of "Diesel" and the cloud of dust with"dirt" Hope this helps.

Attention Designers, MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you show 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if that draft gets finalized, each color version is separated before final files are sent out. Thanks, MB/LDG Team

Not what I am looking for, too elementary. Like the dust cloud but want to leave off the "cures the hurt" part. Also no attempt at the tractor incorporation. Just too elementary and not very eye catching. Thank you
