In a world where we now have mega churches that accommodate thousands of people one would find it hard to believe that the church is ineffective at carrying out the mandate of discipleship. It would seem that the numbers alone would validate the success of the ministry. However, Jesus who is definitely one that we can credit success to in making disciples, did not focus on the multitudes of His ministry but instead reached out to, built relationships with, raised up, and finally released the 12 of whom he made disciples into the earth with the mandate for them to go and do likewise of all men. This command/mandate did not just stop with the twelve but is now the basis for which the church exists. Unlike Jesus, most leaders today have sought out and emphasized the multitudes (numbers) of Jesus` ministry rather than the methods He used to prepare for the multitudes (discipleship). True measurement of success at Discipleship must be no longer be determined by the number of people we have within the four walls of our churches, but instead by the number of those that we are sending out to do as Jesus did and has commanded us to do. Have we been successful at carrying out this command/mandate to make disciples of all men? Or have we been deceived into believing that we are? Discipleship or Deception serves to bring consciousness to the reality of the condition of the church.

Hey CDanH #14 captures a more natural and realistic view however, I'd love to see the photos reflect a little more clarity. Top photo I like but could be if there's anyway possible I'd like to see a more clear picture of the people being sent out. Bottom photo, i'd like to see a more modern church with crowds of people. I'm loving your work and do believe that we are almost there. Thanks a bunch

Good capture. Just needs to be a little more realistic in look and feel. Maybe play around with the colors a bit. It also need to include the tag line without looking to busy. Thanks a bunch.

Good contrast #11 I'd love to see something like this using a crowded church versus a church who's sending others out.

i believe A contrast that reflects a church full of people versus an image of individuals being blesses and sent out into the world would capture the heart of this project.

additional brief details: Sucessful Discipleship in the church cannot be judge by the number of members you have but instead must be judged by the number that you're Sending? Discipleship of deception must capitivate the attention of leaders and followers alike in such a way that they are forced to consider answering the question. Almost to the point of being offended that someone would even ask.
