@UtopixDesign - You made the finals with #90. We really like the design, but we want more emphasis on the movement to really grab the attention of the passer-by.

@smartinfo - We love your design but we jsut can't get past the lime green color you used in the designs 81 53 & 49. Would it be possible for you to use OUR color of green you find in our logo to do the same design?

A couple more comments...we went through the list and eliminated some more designs tonight. Some of the common themes that we like can be seen in the non-eliminated designs. 1. Movement - Movement draws the eyes it is an attention getter. We like that for a display of this size. 2. Clear & Concise Wording - Too much wording and it gets lost on the page. Less is more when it comes to wording. 3. Color - This is one that we are still trying to decide on. We haven't seen a great design that can use a darker background and still make sure our logo is visible. We would challenge some of you to do just that! Or we may be forced to go with a lighter background.

To Nikkali - We like the design and flow of #2, but it is too dark. We would like to see this in a brighter version.

To Hazik - I like the brightness and use of color in #19, but what pops to me is the logo. For the tradeshow, we need the question to pop (without being cheesy), with the logo secondary, so the eye flows to it as the answer to the question. I like the use of the subtext and the link to the logo.

To all designers, we extended the competition 3 days because we would not have had time to review, comment and select. The designs are great!

All designers - We want to avoid dark because some convention halls have dark areas. Bright and crisp is the theme like in 19, 7, and 53. Also, we want to limit the text. The designs have really helped us see how little we actually want on the screen. We like the handwritten script used by #6,7,8 and the limited text used in 49, 53, 19, 31, and 7. As a group, we have not decided exactly which text we want, so the variations are very helpful to us. We like the 4-5 itemized bullets, but we also like the phrases used in #49. Great effort everybody.

To SmartInfo - For #53 and 49, can you use our green instead of the neon and see how that looks? Also, can you replace the sides with the web address (see #6,7,8)? Last, we are concerned that using white with a fabric display may show dirt. Could you consider alternative shading but still keep it crisp, like you have it now? We like the text layout, but in #49, can you make the bottom text ("Cutting edge...) more subtle? Last, not a big fan of the style of the web address on the front. We like your creativity, so play with it.

To UtopixDesign - We are concerned about the white getting dirty, as this is a fabric display. Could you try other shading that would be more travel friendly? Loved the use of the web address on the side and the handwritten text.

@RMMDesigns...Too wordy. We are looking to capture people's attention as they walk by. We really only have them for a few seconds (2-3 seconds) to grab their attention and allow us to make eye contact to give our sales pitch).

@Liciah - Great design...we really like the simplicity of it. The only thing that stands out as something we'd like to change would be the background color. It really bleeds in with the logo blue. Anyway we can get that on a lighter background. You may need to play with the white text then to make sure it is still viewable on a lighter background.

I think you are not getting many submissions because the format is so large. It is a difficult size to work with and for the price, may not be worth the time involved for some designers.

What images do you absolutely want in this, if any, aside from the logo? (e.g., the doctors, software products, etc.)

@nikkali - Thank you for the submission. The stark white background of the people picture does not sit well with us up against the blue background of the rest of the design. Also the logo is too far down on the display. Also for all designers...do not use the hardware picture as the hardware will be ever changing.

@ten14 - Right now our booth layout does not have anything directly in front of the display pop-up. Although because of typical convention center layouts it is plausible that only the top half of the display will be 100% visible. We would like most of the action and attention to be drawn to the upper half of the design!
