Security - made easy

No

We're a PC Security company making PC security easy for everybody. Based on the fundamental insight, that “the battle against viruses, root kits, spyware can't be won”, frankSecurity is focusing on helping customers deal with a virus infection. This includes groundbreaking technology to auto-detect an existing infection. This is possible because, unlike in the case of protection, malware – once deployed – is performing in easy to detect patterns. Examining network traffic to detect characteristic malware behavior, monitoring system state to identify hidden, newly added services, and other technologies are building the foundation for automated virus removal or system and data restoration.
Simplicity is a key focus and a huge competitive advantage. The anti-virus industry, more than any other consumer-oriented industry, is dominated by complexity. None of the existing vendors is doing an even remotely satisfying job at simplifying and hiding of complex technology. Examples for the validity of this claim are the use of “geek” terminology, distracting end-user notifications that provide no value, a need to confirm even the simplest and most obvious tasks such as applying updates. It further manifests itself in the fact that no vendor focuses on doing/enforcing “the obvious” (e.g. applying system updates, application updates, locking down the hosts file, etc.). Even if (some of) those things are done, it’s not done with the users’ need for simplicity, and non-distracting “care-taking”.
Essentially frankSecurity is defining a new market niche one might call “beyond anti-virus”. We close the gap left by legacy anti-virus products in the area of not reaching 100% protection, not enforcing a security best practice configuration, and leaving the consumer alone with handling an infection. We make PC Security easy, manageable for everyone.
This is the core of what we do. It’s our mission. It’s our intellectual property and the focus of continued innovation.

If you can including a Kanso Circle or stylized Kanso circle would be great Idea. example see https://github.com/kanso

"Kanso (Simplicity): A key tenet of the Zen aesthetic is kanso or simplicity. In the kanso concept, beauty and visual elegance are achieved by elimination and omission."
"Simplicity is powerful and leads to greater clarity, yet it is neither simple nor easy to achieve."

A general comment, before I go into details: Please keep the overall goal in mind, to create something that reflects the core values of honesty and simplicity. Colors should be blue and grey, calm, using gradient fills. What I really like is the idea to place the initials into a round circle, and drawing just the "F", so the "S" is visible in the white space left. I think this is genius, and definitely the way to go. What I don't like is circles that are split in two (inner and outer), and also circles that are drawn too complex. A single circle, simple, with gradient fill. No artificial "stuff". Regards the fonts used for the company name, and the initials. Please make sure to use fonts that represent the core values. A simple non-serif font should do. Some of the fonts used so far look too technical. Generally, the logo should be placed centered on top of the company name, not before (although we might get that with a simple cut and paste).

Attention Designers, MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you show 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if that draft gets finalized, each color version is separated before final files are sent out. Thanks, MB/LDG Team
