Inspired Thread's Business Logo
Inspired Thread
Yes
Inspired Thread is a clothing brand that will raise money and awareness for charities & non-profit causes throughout the world. The logo should capture a humanitarian essence - something warm and caring. It will be used for apparel, web, and print mediums - so a clean vector format (with NO gradients) is ideal. The logo will be screen printed on the inside tag area of the shirt (making a tag-less shirt), so it should have lateral symmetry and easy to read in that format.
For iconic elements, I'd like to see some creative range. You might incorporate a sewing needle, or an emblem that captures a sense of humanitarianism, or something that resembles diversity - but whatever you choose it should adhere to the above specs and reflect something of love/caring/warmth/charity/etc.

For fonts, I'll offer two directions. Either something in a script / handwritten font OR a sans serif font that is soft on the eyes.

we'd like a grayscale or white base with an accent color. The accent can be applied to either of the words 'Inspired' or 'Thread', and/or incorporated into the icon element as well. Feel free to use a secondary accent color if needed, but make sure the colors work very well together to establish a brand identity of great style.

We are doing something that has never been done before: connecting fashion, philanthropy and technology in one experience. Blending these societal elements moves us from analog to digital, from helpless to motivated, from scared to inspired.

Because this logo will be printed on various shirt colors, we'll want to lock the logo design and get versions with different base/accent color combinations for high contrast screen printing across many colors of fabrics. Since we may not have the font file for future editing, this will be important to do during this process.
We look forward to your submissions, and will do our best to give feedback to you on submissions as they come in. Good luck!
