I would like to position the company as the "go to Vendor" for software solutions as it pertains to Commercial or Residential properties. Keep in mind that the marketplace for software solutions is staring to acknowledge that they certainly would like to explore what software is in the marketplace and what features are available for them. Certainly when it comes to acquisitions and depositions they have the expertise to perform those tasks. However when it comes to software they really don't have a "Trusted Advisor" to due the Due Diligence and identify a solution for them. The market is fragmented and most of the Software Providers and small shops and lack real marketing dollars. There fore their penetration is minimal and they really exist by word of mouth.
I envision am enterprise that can perform the due diligence and has at its disposal several Software Solutions that can be slightly tweaked to meet the clients needs. Be it Residential or Commercial, and also possibly integrate other products and or services to the client. A technical consulting enterprise coupled with equipment sales.
That being said lets explore the Commercial Market:
It seems that the Commercial Market is just now embracing the software solutions. The reason for this is the advent of this is that many companies are now embracing technology as it has exploded over the last several years. My thoughts on this market are the Small portfolio management companies. An example of this could be a property like Blue Lagoon in Miami. Several five story office buildings on a campus type of setting. take note once you leave a Metro City you have an abundance of these types of complexes that populate numerous places across the country.
The Residential or HOA's
Here we have wo types of clients one that I will call horizontal and the other vertical.
Horizatal are Gated Commuities that want Access Control and Visitor Management
Vertical are High Rises that may want Ammenitiy and Visitor Management
All in all they also fall into the uneducated buyer and need assistance in identifying their real needs and finding the appropriate software solution.
