  Genuine, thanks but I was thinking white background which might b necessary at times. Maybe an outline or diff colors for that application. Also could you make money school letters a little bigger and thicker while keeping it looking great?

  Genuine, I like them both. 51 does have that extra dimension/pops bit more/ more developed feel but 50 might work at other times/uses. Could u put something the same that would work if the backdrop was the one main color that these obviously wouldn't work with?

  Genuine you have lived up to ur name and set the bar. this is some legit bauhaus design work! a hint for the competition: there is no image, the letter shapes are the unique factor and the clean modern aesthetically pleasing aspects all come together.

  I think that I prefer there to be some contrast between Josh and WA. Whether color,font, look, or any other way doesn't matter but I like the ones where it was contrasted in some way. Thanks for all the creativity! Keep it up!

  Tikiri, draft 25 is unique and I like what u did to the a because it brings a new contrast between josh and wa. The image doesn't have much meaning to me. like that letters imply digital because we are very much about using technology to learn. I look forward to seeing more great work!

  Believer, I like the last image better because it is positive and j and could mean change of direction for the better. This one doesn't make as much sense to me, the letters try for not too childish since it will be for adults too. Maybe a bit more crispness/contrast to make it pop a bit more. I like circle over square. Thanks for the good work!

  some characteristics about our brother who the school is dedicated to: he was someone that you measured yourself by, someone who didn't abide by society or norms or conventional anything, he was free, brilliant, good, smart, taught others, if he was in your life he had some influence on it. he believed in making the world a better place and that's what this school aims to do. That's why a simple dollar sign or piggy bank would not be what we're looking for. something like believers logo is nice. Tikiri has very good looking designs but they are too conventional and formal for our school. we have to break some rules here. (josh had 1st grader like handwriting, so even a sloppily handwritten might work for the letters Josh. if u can do that and still make it look good I would give it a shot. I would like the uniqueness to go into the letters more that a separate image on the side. This way the name IS the unique logo all in one.

  I'm not to crazy about browns and greens are too much like money but the blues in 12, 13 and 15 are awesome.

  I like how drafts 10 and 18 did unique imagery and how 11 and 12 look clean and modern. (didn't like piggy banks or dollar signs included) please stay away from dollar signs. Great work! I like where we're goin!

  I think a bit more color would help the logo seem more fun and positive. Baby blue is a somewhat rare color that could make it unique and relates to Uruguay's flag which is where my brother Joshua liked to be. Keep up the good work and I would prefer the letters be more unique and maybe steer away from images around it to help keep it minimalist and clean. I like that draft 1 incorporated uniqueness within the name and it's clean and minimalist. a bit more unique letters and not so direct imagery of dollar sign and cap.

  I was looking at the text bubble in my iPhone IM convo and that looks nice to me. I want clean but custom look like the shading/ gloss in that bubble. I want to give u guys artistic freedom but I don't see much art I see something that looks like it didn't take too long on word to make. Minimalist and looks very good and unique. Thanks for the work and I'm trying to give as much feedback to get us where we need to be from the start

  some ideas of what could be used in imagery besides things that impy Ed ucation or money so directly could be things that imply an ideal.

  A bit more abstract is appreciated too. I feel a dollar sign or one in the s is too direct to seem modern. joshwa is short for Joshua William Academy which may have other schools within it later so another reason why dollar sign might not be ideal. The words money school will give enough attention on money. more can make it corney or salesy or pushy or cheap. again, abstract or artsy warm unique design while not too busy. Thanks for the drafts since its a start and I'm very excited for what is also to come!

  So far I don't think the designs work as a memorable unique logo. I would prefer a unique font and warmer feel to it. Implying trust. These seem too structured for a school that will be innovative and revolutional in its methods. all lower case could work and diff colors for "wa" maybe but I'm all for full freedom of the artist. something with some art, and aesthetic appeal.
