  Good morning Designers, Sorry that I haven't posted feedback in days. I am simultaneously setting up this company withe city... city codes city meetings.... has been so draining! Thank you all for your hard work! As you can see the # of designs have been limited down to the 3 above. This because they are the ones closest to what my desires have evolved into. -A single realistic Lotus Flower -Colors which express femininity -Script font which is legible The designs above other than #68 are missing one element I am still looking for a damask or moroccan element incorporated into the design. At my request the designer of #68 has overlay a damask design onto the lotus leaves. I'd love to see someone completely create the lotus leaves out of a shrunken damask design. You have all done an awesome job I have been stunned by the number of participants and the amount of creativity put into all of your deigns. Thank you for your hard work.   11/2/2011 AM UPDATE Thank you everyone for participating! jeanne #28 Really like your choice in colors. Maybe add an additional earth tone color to make it pop (inside of symbol and tagline). I love the decorative element inside the symbol, but make it Lotus and I'd like the "petals' to be defined, outlined. I do not like the font choice or gradient name. LauraRaduta #23-26 I love all of them! 25-26 received 5 stars because I like the symbol being centered above the name. Maybe add a third color for more dimension a bit of gold or bronze or mocha brown in the center of the symbol (maybe make the tagline this new third color too). For #'s 24 & 26 adding light hints of a third earth tone would make them pop off a piece of paper! Would love to see how you work with a hot pink, silver or gold and light green combo. mdsgrafix #17 Your submission is feminine and decorative yet very clean and neat. Your choice in colors is awesome. A great balance of feminine and earth tones. Wondering how you could incorporate the lotus flower without cluttering the design. Also I want the tagline to pop, maybe make it the brown color instead of the fuschia. zozo99 #22 I love the font choice just looking for more in the symbol and would like it to be centered above the company name. I like the neatness of design but i want it to pop out more; more color. #16 This one is much more along the lines of what I am looking for. The symbol is separated. I like that the tagline and company name are different colors. Your symbol just need to more avant garde; more color.

  11/1/2011 AM Good morning all, thank you so much for participating in my journey. Few things up front I am going to start posting all updates and feedback 2x a day by 11 am and 11 pm EST. I will list designer name in alphabetical order then refer to you draft entries by number. Also I received email request from one of your fellow designers asking me to veil the project. I welcome feedback on my next statement if it is amiss, but I have decided not to veil because I like that you can see each others designs. I feel it allows each of you to follow the thread as my desires evolve. I know it makes the contest more of challenging but trust me, I will be fair. I will not let someone who jumped on the band wagon and stole someone elses' idea be my prize contestant. I personally understand what it means to be an entrepreneur, and I will award based upon innovation and originality. I will also always give first updates and "heads up" in a private email to the designer(s) who innovate a new idea. Side note: I am going to try to increase the prize money today because I'm asking for a bit more work, and I was informed Guru takes a percentage of you winnings. I spoke about my desires evolving above, and I have decided I would like to incorporate the Lotus flower into the design as the company symbol. Some ideas that have come to mind but that I am not limited to are: - Instead of simple solid color petals I'd like like the petals to be swirly like the damask wallpaper links I added to the conversation area yesterday, maybe add a solid color beneath the swirls (Example a light pink lotus with gold decorative swirls within the petals) - A translucent center with a colored script font letter K in it. - I have also decided to change my color scheme. I do love deep blues and purples so feel free to use them, but I think incorporating light airy fresh colors like pink and turquoise, as well as crisp colors like light green will add to design. Please don't forget my favorites! I am an earth tone girl to the core. Throwing in some Gray-Beige, brown, gold, silver or silver will always catch my eye. Thanks again everyone, happy creating!   #12 Thanks zozo99 for participating. I like the colors and the font you've put together. If you get some chocolate brown in there and add a symbol or some pizzaz behind the name we'd be cooking.   #11 @mdsgrafix I LOVE your choice in colors the background color of the symbol is my favorite (Gray/Beige)! I also like the idea of the symbol with the K in it, but I'm not crazy about the choice in decorative art around it. Try something a little more avant garde like this http://www.burkeDecor.com/Black-Gold-Mylar-Medallion-Damask-Velvet-Flocked-p/vcc0835.htm would work. Also I'd like some more color i the symbol maybe make the K pink.
