Creative Brief

Local Food Company Logo

"LocalBee" or "localbee"

Foods with personality, from people you know

No

1. ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
LocalBee is an online grocery marketplace for local, organic, and natural foods. Customers buy food items on our site from artisans, farmers, and grocers. We bring their orders to one of a dozen predetermined "market-style" pickup locations around Brooklyn and New York City.

"At LocalBee, we explore the region to discover the best and freshest foods that your community has to offer. We make it easy to shop online for a curated selection of local and artisanal foods that we deliver to convenient pickup locations in your neighborhood." – localbee.co

We are a mission-driven organization that cares about the environment, and communities. We have a focus on artisanal products and smart, simple, wholesome ingredients. Food is not just a product, but a source of story, connection and nourishment of body and community.

2. PERSONIFY THE BRAND
educated, holistic, considerate, progressive, inspired, appreciative of craftsmanship and attention to detail, clean, organized, organic/natural, honest, communicative, optimistic/friendly, healthy, principled, straightforward, intelligent, educated, fun

simple.

3. AUDIENCE
anyone who fits the person described above, or even aspires to be if not currently actualized

-young, energetic family that is working and has a kid
-young couple that doesn't yet have a kid, but maybe they live together
-the person who cooks and/or eats at home
-the person who shops at farmers markets, or would, if they lived closer
-they attend cool events, read high quality content/educated

5. ADDITIONAL NOTES
- We don't want to look "cold," but also not, gimmicky or silly.
- The design should be simple enough that it can be used in various digital / physical formats
- Some form a bee in the center of a circle that somewhere says "LocalBee" should be explored
- Colors: natural but not cheesy natural. green is fine but not cheesy "be green!" green.

Attention Designers!! MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files. Thanks, MB/LDG/LS Team
