I would like to see something that could be used in a different formats: horizontal or vertical. I was envisioning a symbol and the letters IEC that would be designed in a way that could be either stacked or side by side to fit different applications. Ideally I would like each element to be something that could stand alone and be recognized.
I had played with the idea of the symbol being something abstract that represented a box and arrow to signify delivery and boxes in a metaphoric abstract way.

I would also like to remind everyone that i would like to keep the letters IEC separate from any "symbols" so that they may broken up and stacked, set side by side or used exclusive of each other.
I think also as I am reviewing these initial submissions, I should maybe have said that I wanted something more Modern. I do not want anything that will be outdated in a couple of years, which is why i said Traditional, however I am looking for a clean, simple and more modern design, keeping in mind that we have been in business for almost 70 years and this is the first time the owner has considered changing the logo really in the last 30 years, so it needs to be something that will not be outdated anytime soon.
