About HarveySterling Logo

In promoting our training program, we will use many photos where the logo will be placed on those photos/graphics.

The logo will also be placed on many items i.e.: stationeries, merchandise, website, etc. The design still needs to be distinctive or recognizable regardless the small size of its applications (such as stationeries or merchandises).

It will be used on our main website and marketing collaterals.

The logo will be placed on images or colored background that overall will show medieval theme (i.e. iron mask, sword, shield, etc.) We want the logo to go along with these images and it is still clearly visible when placed on other materials (paper, brochure. etc.).

The logo must include text: HarveySterling
(please see the sample we provided to have the same feel about the use of type font)

It should be still stylish. Do not use plain Times-Roman-like ones.
(please refer to Rannoch logo text, we like these kind of font type)

The logo must contain an emblem element, it can be placed above or adjacent to the text.

PREFERRED COLOR SCHEME

We require you to develop a logo with 2 type of applications based on the color of the background this logo will be placed on.

On White (and Transparent) Background - Will be used mostly on this format
Dark red and Bronze for emblem/symbol and text

On Colored Background
Silver and white should be dominant for the emblem and text

EMBLEM ELEMENT

The text must be accompanied by emblem/symbol style element. Do not use clip-art style of emblem/symbol design, especially the ones that already being used on other logos. We prefer unique yet simple.
(please refer to Rannoch logo)

Thank you for all designers who have participated in our company logo design. They are all wonderful. You are all talented designers. In a few hours, our team will decide which one got the most votes. Obviously they are having a difficult task ahead. We look at the brief and are also open for new interpretation. Unfortunately we can only select one. All in all, this process has been a good experience for us. We appreciate all of your efforts and designs.

Dear Designers, Thank you very much for all of your wonderful designs. We believe we will have a tough call later on to decide which one would be our most preferred choice. Since many are asking for comments, there are elements that we are NOT in favor when we assess any of the designs: - Any lines that too thin. It would be difficult to see when we apply it in small objects/collaterals that we have. - Any lines that too thick/bold and seems disproportionate with the overall composition. - Symbols/emblem that is made from merging/composition/tweaking initials that seems too easy to produce. We look for simplicity but we also look for finesse so no body can copy/reproduce it. - Uneven/unaligned lines/details that supposedly symmetrical designs - Seems like ready to use clip-art-like elements We prefer designs that are shown on both white and colored (black/else) background. For the colored background, we prefer the logo to be in white (plus shade of grey or any brighter color) so it is quite distinct. We hope this answers some of the questions given to us. Thanks. Again, thanks for your great works!

Hello designers, Thanks a lot for the designs. We appreciate them very much. We notice that the designs are using the same font (trajan if we are not mistaken) on many logos here and out there. We wonder if you could provide other alternatives with the same elegance of this trajan font. We did not expect the design to be using hand writing font type/style but apparently we like it. It is a nice surprise. But we are still open for symbol/emblem element that complement the HarveySterling text. We are still open for other possibilities of combining the H & S characters as part of the symbol element. The ones shown here, we are not really drawn to them. We are new to this logo development process using this approach so hopefully we can get the best design smoothly. We have just started and still have several days for selecting the best one. Again. Thank you. All the best.
