Black Dog Motors

This is a logo for a used automobile dealership. I wanted a logo that conveyed trust and loyalty. Man's best friend came to mind. My first consideration was Black Lab Motors, but we will be dealing with a mid to luxury motor, so I went with Black Dog instead thinking the Lab would convey too much of a country feel.

My thoughts were to have a black dog, perhaps youthful, warm... a pet you would just want to go up and pet along with the business name.

    Good Morning. Just a quick thanks for all the good ideas. Like I said, this one is a hard decision. I have gone through and eliminated the ones that just didn't fit our ideas, but there are many in the final collection that make it a difficult decision. Down to the last 12 hours, so please submit any other ideas you may have. Thanks Fred

    We are excited about the designs that have been presented so far. Please keep them coming! We also really like the picture of the dog to be realistic looking rather than animated. Some of you have created some logos that look like they could be emblems on a car. That gives it a nice touch. Keep them coming please:)

    Wow, everyone has some great ideas. Please keep them coming. I am not married to the picture I uploaded, so don't think you have to incorporate it into the logo. I would love to see your original ideas as well. #22 - I love the dog in this logo. Would love to see some more applications with him #6 - Love how the dog is incorporated in the logo. Really cool. #29 - Love the colors. I am leaning towards the black, white, red and even the grays. Thanks for all you input... it's exciting
