Describe who/what this design is about

This dental practice has traditionally been a single doctor practice in a rural midwestern town. Now the practice will have a new (younger) doctor joining the team. It has always had updated systems and used modern dental techniques, but the same doctor has represented the practice for the past 35 years. Looking to update the look and the brand. Values: honesty, fairness, and QUALITY dentistry.

The tagline "smile" means more than teeth. This represents the attitude of the practice. We want every patient to be greeted with a smile, feel happy when they are in our presence and get an overall warm feeling with the service they receive from Kanning Dental.

In attempt not to squash creativity, I'm reluctant to say- please do not use tooth/teeth or a cartoon smile in the logo, but I really think I'd lean toward more of a "text" based logo without dental related graphics. But do what you feel. Thanks.

I've always like FedEx's logo too. Not sure why. But It is simple, but could be a little more Modern and not as industrial.

#28 - I keep coming back to your design. I like the K, but could you change the Kanning into something less script and a little more legible. I think it might be a little hard to read if I used this on a sign. I like it..

#24 - I REALLY like this design. Could the "K" logo move to the Right of the Kanning dental? And do you have any other idea's about that logo? Thinner K? Good work.

#2 - I really like the Kanning Dental Smile, and I like the idea of the "K" singled out, but the font of the K in the circle is too script for me.

#4 I like it and I can't but my finger on why I don't love it. Maybe the font? I think the separation w/in the letters might be what's holding me up. This is good though. Thank you...
