Logo for Medical/Healthcare Company

Somnocor

We are looking to have a logo designed for a medical/healthcare company called Somnocor. We would like this logo to be very medical/pharmaceutical in the overall look and feel. We do not want to have characters or design elements that look to playful. Corporate is key.

Business Concept:
A Somnocor home sleep disorder test is a convenient alternative to sleep center/hosptial testing that can be performed in the comfort and privacy of a patient’s home, at a fraction of the cost of a sleep laboratory study.

We are opened to looking at different ways to spell out Somnocor i.e. SomnoCor, somnoCor, etc. Ideally we see it spelled the original way but if a designer has another way please feel free to show us.

The entire company is based on performing a sleep study within a patient’s own house. I am not sure if we can create a logo that someway conveys this without being too playful – a very corporate look is a necessity for the approved logo.

    Please ensure light colours are used. We are seeing too many black and dark colours. As well, the logo has to have some meaning. We have uploaded some abstract examples of home icons - we do not want the logo to be a very obvious image of a house. The one concern of ours is we do not want people to think we deal with selling homes or renovating houses. We need to have a nice combination of medical, house and sleep. Hope this is possible.

    Please keep to blue tones -- need the logo to be light, fresh, medical. Other colour can be incorporated but we need it to be a in the lighter hues. Please stay away from blacks, reds, etc

    Another option to consider with the designing is to have two colours one for "Somno" and another for "cor". I cannot stress enough we just need it to scream corporate. Thanks!
