  I'd also love to see how #23 and #24 look on a dark background (dark grey, perhaps) with light text.

  I love the shape in #23 and #24, although the yellow doesn't stand out quite as well (it looks a bit faint, especially with the white lighting highlights). The fade at the top of the text is a bit too severe, and I'm not keen on the thin black border on the text. Maybe a thicker border - a bevel, even - or no border at all?

  Feel free to keep experimenting with different shapes, colours and fonts, everybody. I'm not completely set on the blue and silver sphere just yet, although it is very nice. I like the yellow/black in #12. More ideas welcome.

  Some great drafts so far... thanks guys! As far as the text is concerned, please try to ensure it is still readable. I'd like to strike a balance: not too plain, yet not too confusing. I'd love to see some of the current drafts re-submitted with different fonts.

  #5 looks very nice, I love the G sphere. But the text looks a bit too plain and formal. How about a different font, or some other way of making the text a bit less corporate?
