Goals Happen Here

A community that helps you figure out, set, and accomplish your goals

Yes

A helpful and sometimes humorous look at goal setting, and more broadly, self-help. Helping people help themselves is the underlying idea of the site. The website for the logo has been live for a few months, goalshappenhere.com, so that will give you a good idea, as well as facebook.com/goalshappenhere.

not sure

I'll attach a file that has a couple of rough sketches a friend of mine did. Her concept was doing something with balloons, and I rather like that idea. I am, though, open to other ideas. The final logo has to work both horizontally, as well as in a smaller, box-like area.

And on 52, I like the red for the "here" although I still want it to have a little more oomph graphically, somehow....I wish I had a concrete idea, but it doesn't feel weighty/anchored enough....Not sure if that helps, but that's the best I can do to express it....

On 54, I'm not really keen on the font, although what you did with the string for the subhead was interesting. On 53, the balloon and how it makes the "h" is pretty nifty. On 55-57, I like how you broke up the subhead with the red, but I'm not keen on that particular sans seraph font. I do think, though, that overall I'm leaning strongly toward sans seraph since I haven't really liked any of the seraph fonts...I guess they look too fussy/busy. Thanks again, everyone, for all the great designs!

Re: 46 and 47, I don't really like the font used for "here," although I see what you're doing by emphasizing "here" and that idea has some potential.

44 is getting really close....it's amazing how just one line and a different font can really help! It still needs more...well...graphic cohesion as my friend said, but it's getting there. I appreciate the effort in 48 - 50, and the subhead wrapped about the circle is interesting. I'm not keen on the stars, at least not done that way, although doing something with stars to indicate that the people who want to reach their goals (the readers of the site) are stars might be cool.

Thanks again everyone for all the great designs! On 29 and 30, I like the overall idea, but am not keen on the font for "here" and might also prefer a sans seraph font for the Goals Happen part, too. I still *really* like the concept in 13, 26, & 27, but the font choice and overall design just isn't quite coming together yet for me....but I love the subtitle/string concept. The "ghh" alone (for example in 34 and 35 and others) isn't working for me now that I've seen a few versions of that and I'm pretty sure I don't want to go that way. I've just extended for 3 days, so thank you again for all of your help and designs!

On 13, that's a good general idea for a font, but something a bit more professional looking. Also, as someone I received feedback from said "it lacks graphic cohesion; it feels unfinished and unrefined" but overall I'm liking the general concept. On 23, there's too many different things going on with the fonts...I don't think it works....Thanks!

On 18 - 21, I like the overall concept that you're working with, but I guess I don't like how old-fashioned the scripted "here" looks. But the overall ideas are good. On 16 and 17, I like how you went to the site and used the actual site so I can see how it really looks; thank you for that. 16 has some potential, although I'm not keen on the font. I guess as I'm seeing more scripted fonts, I'm realizing that I really want to keep an edgier/modern look, too. On 13, I really like how the subtitle is the string....very nice! And the font on 13 is a modern yet scripty....very nice. On 12, I'm not too keen on that font, but overall it's heading in the right direction if I'm going to stay with the balloon idea. On 14, I'm not really into that look, although I do appreciate the effort to come up with something different.

I like the variety presented in 9 (in that it develops the balloon and color concept beyond a straight-up balloon). I like 10, but am looking for something more horizontal (yet that I can use easily in a box shape, too). I like 7, but if I stay with a balloon, I want red or maybe a dark red balloon. I don't like the font in 7, but I do like the overall feeling/vibe. I like the overall idea of 8, but not the font. Thank you again!

Thanks for these! Something that spells out the full name and/or has a more horizontal aspect would be nice to see, too.....I don't particularly like the font in #1. Thanks!

I can't figure out how to edit my comments, but I'd like to see versions both with and without and tagline. Thank you.
