Logo for new food cooking product

This is for a new food preparation product, and I'd like it to be clean, simple, and perhaps modern in feel. It should convey that the product is used hot to cook food, and perhaps have something to do with grilling. The lava stone comes on a wood board, so ideally the logo is one that can be transferred to a branding iron that can be burned into the wood.

Ideally it would be 2-3 colors and be able to be used as 1 color as an image that can be burned/branded into wood. Something strong, black, red, white? Orange for fire?
not sure
if you google "branding iron logo design" under images I do like (like the branding iron grillery). I like the fire behind it but it's not necessary. There are only a couple of companies that make this sort of product (it's a natural black lava stone that you heat in the oven and place on a wood base, and it's hot enough to cook proteins like steak, seafood, chicken, etc....). The 2 companies you can check out to see the product are steakstones.com and lavarockcooking.com (they have their logo branded in the front side which I like). Not for logos, but to see the actual product. i'd like a clean, modern, approach but also representing the name GrillStones (1 word or 2 ok) and maybe the tag line if it fits in the design.
Keep in mind the design will also be branded on the wood, and will be transferred to web and also product packaging.
