Power Implements needs to showcase an industrial, heavy duty feel, factory, manufactured, machine, no garnish, no extravagence, no decoration feel. Needs color in the yellow, orange, red color spectrum. No blue. No clichés/stereotypes, do not include infinity sign, capital one swooshes, gears, spark plugs, bolt heads, pistons, wrenches, power plugs, batteries, power buttons(or some derivative of), lightning bolts, oil drops. No electronic, Tron (film), Transformers (film), hydropower, techno, watersports, powerboat, aeronautical, or cursive font.

Hello Contest Holder, Please provide star ratings / private feedback. It can lead us to the right direction of the designs you're looking for.

Needs to reflect the character of the company. Should be clear and distinct in small dimensions. Would like it to stand the test of time... How will it look in two months, 10 years, 20 years etc... It should be unique and easily recognizable.

The whole premise for the company is a business that focuses on long term relationships, efficient fast repair, competitively priced, educating clients, treating problems not symptoms, proactive not reactive, etc...

Think more industrial. I don't care for the lower case "i". If the design submissions will contain the initial letters of the name, let's stick with both capitalized. Also, steer clear of the "power" symbol with the circle with a line through it.

The color selection is not imperative. Please do not limit to the few colors I recommended in the initial setup of this project.

The Nike check mark being so widely recognized while not being a graphical representation of what the company does is great!

Need to stay away from the cliche' "go to" designs of gears, oil/fuel drops, lightning bolts. While the Nike check mark is the symbol of an entire apparel company, it has nothing to do with athletic wear other than being a trademark.

Designs need to be scalable and confident. The colors are not so important as having a bold and empowered appearance. The designs need to be equally as good in black and white as in color... Something that can be monogrammed on shirts, used in a website, and placed on ink pens... Designs must also be universal in that they are effective regardless of what geographic region it is being displayed in.
