Describe who/what this design is about

Dr. Greg is a Chiropractor born and raised in Venice California. He is an avid surfer and an advocate for healthy living. He epitomizes the vibrant, healthy lifestyle of California and we want to convey that in the logo. We like the idea of adding a drawing of a man surfing and the vintage feel of California. We would like to have motion, and a general feeling of moving towards a quest for healthy life (like people correlate Californian's living)...
