Therapy for Independence

Include this tagline in my logo.

Describe who/what this design is about

My passion and purpose is to help health care organisations transform their clients lifes so that others see a person and not the physical disability. This is achieved by using my Occupational Therapy skills to assess functional abilities in daily living skills, recommending adaptation to homes or equipment provision to promote independent living. What makes my business unique is that every solution is tailored to that person.

The business name is Therapy for Independence. The business values are integrity, professional, respectful, accessible and creative.

Clients come to the company from an external person commissioning the services on their behalf. These commissioners are solicitors, case managers, local authority managers. These people are professional, well educated and successful. Clients who use this business have a physical disability. My clients are sensitive, friendly/open, struggling for independent living skills and fabulous. Clients can be children, parents of those children, adults or older people.

I wish to reinvent the company image. Previous image was an outline of a person jumping in the air, this image was then placed inside a solid coloured circle, company name written around the outside of the circle in sans serif font.

I am seeking a logo that can be used on a website (soon to be designed), letterheading and publicity flyers.

Thank you AbsoluttMudd for your designs. #136 - I really like the hand written text used, please use this font in the size of #143 where the last letter ends at least at the 'p' in the word independence. Please do one design in solid black like #116 Dear all, colour preference decided on orange and black or orange and grey.

Thank you for some wonderful designs. I feel they are really capturing what I am looking for. #135 - I really like the orange. Would it stand out more against black? I prefer the word 'for' written the same as #136. Please keep to the person image. #136 - I like the size of the 'for' but remain wondering if the word 'therapy' needs to be larger. It is in a nice typeface. Could you try the word therapy sitting slightly onto the word independence? #141 - I like the new symbol you have created and centred with the text.

Once again thank you for your designs - they are really good. #116, #117, #118 - I like the concept of having an image above the text and I like it being in a colour. (Any vibrant colour would be good) I feel the person is better than the birds. However I do like the bird concept i.e. being set free. I feel the butterflies are a bit too 'girly' for me. #116 - The 'for' is easy to read but I find the word 'therapy' difficult to read. Could 'therapy' be made larger or a different script? I prefer the script of #116 than #118 as it appears more hand written. Perhaps change the font of 'for' to a simplier text so that it does not over power the words 'therapy' and 'independence'. Thank you

Dear Designers, Thank you for your time. Please may I remind you that my brief said 2 colours. I do not mind 2 colours and black but please no more than 4 colours. #88, #93, #94, #95 - please change the font #91 + #92 - I like the font and I really like how independence is bolder. I am uncertain about the symbols, they appear abstract and have no relevance. Is there a symbol that would work with the text which has more meaning? #96 - I like how there is a significant size difference between therapy and independence. Please swap the sizing around so that independence is larger. The circle image is not very legible, could you develop that further. #97-100 - The symbol is good but please change the fonts. Please look at above for font guidance. #106-7 - The person jumping is a good idea but it is leaning to the left and the text to the right, could you try different fonts and if using a font that slopes to the right then try the person to the right. Once again thank you for all your hard work, it is really valued.

Dear Designers I am finding it difficult to explain what I am looking for. To assist you further, here are some web links of designs that I like: http://www.frecklelife.com/our-work/1214/company-logo-design-cornerstone-blackburn/ I like the font, how there is a play on the word by the having a section of the word in bold, colours good, image does not overpower the design, there is a handwritten element which gives a personal touch. http://reliancehealth.com.au/ I like the colours, how the word reliance stands out, simple use of a symbol, how the word health is justified. Again their tagline is hand written. http://www.wireuk.org/market-place-details/2758/Serenity-Touch I like the hand written word but not the symbol under the word touch. http://www.iqmultimedia.com.au/jobs/branding/ultimate-kitchens I like how an image has been incoporated into the company name. Again it is a clean, crisp design. http://www.satoritherapy.co.uk/ I like how a letter has been changed into a solid colour and that colour been added to the top of the letter 'i'. I hope these suggestions assist you in developing your concepts further.

Thanks again for your hard work. Please note it is 'for' not '4' and I prefer this word to be less dominant, so the font is better not being in a fancy script. #85 - I like the idea of seeing just text however I feel the font used and dots does make it easy reading. I like how the word 'therapy' is in a different colour.

Thanks for all your hard work: #77 - love the colours #62 - I am seeking my clients to feel as if they are getting a personal touch. The font used in the word 'therapy' is getting close to this idea. #72 - nicer image, colours need changing, text remains not modern enough Dear all, I am seeking a design where clients feel they are getting personal touch, where their individual problems are being resolved. Therfore I am seeking an individual design where the name 'therapy for independence' is more prominant than any image. Happy thinking.

I have 2 comments: - Can I see some designs that do not use any symbol they just play with the words? - For those you have done a symbol that I have previously commented on please can the text be in different fonts? I am looking for professional and modern look.

Thank you for some wonderful designs. #34 - I like the text for the word 'therapy'. Creativepic please develop how the words 'for independence' are used and not include a symbol. #22 - Buzzlightyear, I like the symbol and the text in black. What would happen if you changed the font? #32 - Djormania, Could you develop the symbol so that it looks more like 3 people linking/talking together? Can you also change the text font? Just to remind everyone I am seeking a clean/simple design that is modern. Designers please make sure the symbol is not overshadow the text.

#22 - very nice idea. I like how the 'for' is not as prominant. I like how the triangle looks like 3 people. Designers please note I am happy to see the name using a combination of upper and lower case letters.

Thanks for the new entries. I really like how these ideas are developing. I like #16. I also wonder about emphasising the word independence more than therapy. As therapy is the tool/approach and independence is the end result.

For further guidance: Colours I like - #13,#12, #8, #6 I am not sure about using a circle design, I like the half circle concept from #6 and I like #11 with something to the side. Fonts - I prefer #11, #12 than traditional serif style. Concept -seeking modern over traditional feel

Thank you for a wonderful start. I am still uncertain how I wish this to develop so please keep thinking and I will rate every design as quickly as I can. So far I like #6 and #2, no preference on colour as yet.
