***LUXURY BRAND LOGO***Develop Logo for Luxury Goods Accessory and Jewelry Brand

Michelle Crow

California & New York

Yes

Michelle Crow is a luxury brand designer creating beautiful luxury handbags and small accessories from crocodile skins which are combined with precious gem stones.
I would like the brand and logo to be an expression of pure luxury that captures the very essence of the brands refinement and elegance.
The products are beautiful objects of desire and the ultimated embodiment of the spirit of sophistication.
The products created my Michelle Crow are distinctive designs made by the fushion of precious materials for a glamorous and exciting style that combines the classic with the contemporary. I want to harmonize the classical with the contemporary.
The design is for use on labels, website, promotional collateral material, and business cards and letter head.

Abstract

I wanted to use black and white with a very rich marigold. I thought because my name is Michelle Crow that black and white would reinforce the subliminal connection with the crow bird. I also like how striking and bright a rich gold looks with black. I wanted a bold color tied to my logo. Similar to how Tiffany & Co. has a robin's egg blue or Hermes has a very pumpkin color orange. I did not foresee using this on all material. I also love reverse negatives. Most fashion brands are black and white or the reverse negative. The font style is very important.

not sure

Because I am a creative person I only want to suggest my thoughts but not be the driving force behind the expression. I leave that to the graphic artist. I found in my research that there are many more cool looking raven pictures than crow pictures. I like some of the sexy raven pictures i have seen.
I also love the idea of using my name in a serif font with the beginning of the "M" stroke forming a branch that had a crow silhouette perched on part of the "M".
I also love Edgar Allen Poe's, "The Raven" and there are some amazing etchings from the original book that have a wonderful Greco-Roman influence. In particular the angels in the book have these huge massive wings that I love and the front cover of the original book has cool images of iconic statues.
I have found similar logos to be around with Bentley the car company and also Harley Davidson as well. I obviously do not want to look like a motorcycle company but you get the idea.

Announcement: Project Holder has not selected a contest winner within 15 days, therefore MycroBurst will announce the winner and award prize according to "MB Contest Policy". We are proud to award the prize to “validesign” for design “#13”. All of the designs submitted were good, and it was hard to pick just one winner. Good Luck in your next contest!

Thank you for everyones beautiful designs. I like the designs that have incorporated the use of the wings. I like the design that look similar to the cameo designs like #13. I am not sure about color and hope that maybe someone has a better idea. My other thoughts are like a soft sepia brown like a cameo shell or a grey like a old classic french etching. I want my design for my company to be old but new. Thank you to everyone. I did not like the goth looking images of some submissions. I included those images more for the bird shapes and to hope to have the sexiness of some of the woman come across in the logo. I like how#13 has two profiles almost like mermaids in the design. Very nice. Thanks, Michelle
