The Goods That Make Great Homes

Yes

We are currently a high street retailer with 4 stores in central London trading under the "Select & Save" banner.

We are now launching an e-commerce store under a new trading name (Maha Home) with the intention of retrospectively re-branding our stores with the new logo and colour theme in months to come.

We are a retailer of household goods much like Woolworths (RIP) or Robert Dyas. The main focus of our product range is food preparation items and tableware, but we also have extensive ranges of small electric appliances, hardware/DIY, storage products, cleaning and catering/food service. Our stores are located in prime high streets in Hammersmith, Fulham and Edgware Road in Central London.

We are not a low price competitor. Customers are very often pleasantly surprised at the depth, breadth and quality of the range of products that we have available for sale, and we believe our core competency is having all of these items together available for sale in convenient locations and at a reasonable price.

Our customers at the moment are mainly local to our stores and this was one of the reasons for us going online.

2 colours: warm burnt orange lettering and a homely light chocolate brown background/supporting colour. I want the colours to be vibrant without being too in your face as they will also appear on a physical fascia.

In Mahahome.com I want our brand "MAHA" to be most prominent, with the "home.com" being almost secondary. Slightly rounded/non-linear lettering would add to the friendliness of the brand. Maha means "great" in Sanskrit, hence the tagline.

Hi Jaggu I like #18. Could I see it with an additional black and white version and 2 colour version at the bottom as you have done in #19?

Hello everybody thanks for all your submissions, keep them coming! Please no more roofs, it is too obvious a reference to home. I like the subtle references to some of our products in #8 and #9 and the use of colour for emphasis in #35.

Hi Jaggu. Could you make the Maha even more prominent in #16, 18 and 19? Also I like the glass effect but could you make it look even more 3D in #19? Perhaps isolate the shiny effect to either the orange or brown of the letters in Maha to make it stand out. Many Thanks

Hi Oechte. Although it was not what I initially had in mind, I am intrigued by the colour combo in #1 as well. Could I see some additional designs in this line?

Hi Jaggu could I see #4 without the house pic and with the Maha even more prominent? Thanks. I like the colour scheme and the font

Hi all thanks very much for submitting. I am not keen on having an obvious house or roof shaped symbol in the logo, something more subtle please.
