Our current logo is the company name over an image of a treemap visualization (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treemapping), which is a visually prominent feature of our software. The default configurations of our program use either red/green or blue/gold for the treemaps, so those are good color combinations to start with, but feel free to experiment with designs that features other treemaps or none at all.

To all the designers from the Mavenomics team: apologies for the unexpected extensions, and sincere thanks for all the hard work and great ideas. We were blown away by the Logo Design Guru community and will enthusiastically recommend it to other companies (or maybe even come back ourselves for future product-level logos!). Additionally, special thanks go to our finalists (fantastica, box1508, twentyseven, jp1876, AmrinO, NigzC and x3mart) most of whom (especially fantastica) submitted multiple great concepts and revisions, which were really hard for us to pick between as we collated feedback and narrowly decided on #206!

Fantastica: Sorry for not rating #209, which the Mavenomics team thought was beautiful and very cleanly and sharply executed, before closing the contest. FYI, we were debating whether #209 fit our image but felt it was better for another sort of company (for example it may be perfect for a computer hardware company!). If we had rated it during the contest (ratings are now locked down) we would have liked to give it five stars, but probably would have given it just 3 so it wouldn't show up in the "Draft with 4-5 Stars" view we ultimately had to chose from.

Hey everybody, thank you for all your hard work so far. We have extended the contest, most likely for the last time. We are enjoying all the creative submissions, so please keep them coming, but remember- we're looking for a clean, simple logo.

The "M" logos are interesting, but perhaps look too much like McDonald's
