The New Hampshire Disaster Animal Response Team (NHDART) provides a coordinated effort in the preparation, prevention, response and recov ery phases for any disasters or significant public emergencies involving animals. NHDART is a non-profit organization increasing New Hampshire’s capabilities of responding to animal emergencies on the local, regional, state and federal levels.
NHDART helps communities develop trained disaster animal response teams that coordinate local resources and provide emergency veteri- nary services and supportive care for pets, farm and exotic animals during disasters or emergen- cies that require local emergency assistance.
