We need a logo design for our newly formed Just for Kids Foundation of Minnesota nonprofit organization.
We strive to improve the quality of life for Minnesota children by identifying areas of need within our local communities, evaluating the charities and programs best designed to meet these needs, and partner with and financially supporting these organizations Our belief that each child has equal value and potential is at the core of our work at the foundation. We follow 7 guiding principles, which help define our approach for philanthropic work.
The 7 principles below reflect the J4K Foundation's beliefs about the role of philanthropy and the impact they want this foundation to have. The principles guide what we do, why we do it, and how we do it. While many of them are fundamental to the way we operate, we will remain open to amending them as we grow and learn more about our work.
•We carefully analyze charities, both for financial and social responsibility, and help fund and shape their initiatives.
•Our investments into these charities are funded by organizing creative, fun or family oriented fundraising events.
•We strive for local beneficiaries and commit to ensuring that +90% of all such beneficiaries are local to the state of Minnesota.
•We focus our efforts on charities that improve the quality of life for children and reduce the related stress for the parents.
•We strive to be good stewards with the funds we manage and take personal responsibility for using our resources efficiently, being accountable to our supporters, partners, and most of all, children.
•We are ethical, transparent, and open with our financial records and actions.
•We leave room for growth and change.
To achieve our vision, we believe that it is important to start our journey at a slow and steady pace. Learning as we grow will enable us to become a strong and reliable foundation respected within the Minnesota community for years to come.
