  All, we are allowing this contest to come to an end. We want to thank everyone for the great work and submissions. The hardest thing about this is eliminating designs from great designers. I have enjoyed the feedback personally and if it was up to me id never be able to choose one. So many of your logos are worth having and we wished we had more businesses just to use your logos. There were many worthy of multi million dollar establishments for hotels, restaurants, firms etc..So thank you very much. We will now begin our voting stage among 20 people.

  Designers, due to several last minute entries and an overwhelming amount of creativity coming in we decided to extend the contest 3 more days to give us more time to choose. We would also like to give some of the newer contestants opportunities to submit drafts. Thank you all.

  Hello all! We have pretty much arrived to the half way mark of our contest! At this point we would like to change directions a little to ensure we've covered as many concepts as possible and allow you the freedom to create. For the second half of the contest we would like to see implementations of waves, actual reef as opposed to coral, the sun, fish, coral, whatever you imagine that could resemble the vitality of the oceans reef. We googled wave images and it sparked this idea. We would love to see you create!

  All, great stuff! I will be offline for just a few hours. Thanks for the great entries. Few notations: There are lots of simple format drafts coming in i.e. Coral symbol to the right of 1.The Reef texts. Unless you can make this fuller and more unique you may want to stay away from the concept. 2. Great stuff coming in by comparison. When you goole reef logos you will see examples that reveal "life" that surrounds it. If anyones interested in taking a shot at that it would be worth seeing. 3. I have yet to see a concept I envision and it's my fault for not being able to explain it. Ill try again here: I'm envisioning 3d…or 2d letters that have a Reef Like texture to them in all caps; as if you chiseled the words out of a reef side by side or stacked on each other. The borders of the letters should also resemble the reef texture instead of a smooth outline of the letter. At the same time have the coral I uploaded embossed or shaded in and/or other things found in pacific reef ecosystems. I would like the 4 core values and "life" to have a subtle presence or representation; sort of like a smart logo…not sure how to do that. Your guess would be far better than mine. Thanks again

  For a better feel for what we need please see the Creative Brief. We would love for some Smart Logo examples, 3D, and a very Cutting Creative Edge. Would definitely like to see some formats with Large Rock-like/Reef like letters with the coral that was uploaded embossed or set in. A format where the R can also stand alone as an icon would be cool, but it needs to carry a reefy theme. Thank you everyone.
