Nutritional Hawaii business logo

Nutritional Hawaii

Best in the world - From Hawai'i

Yes

The revenue generated from this business is based upon selling tropical foods, from Hawaii, that are best in the world quality. This is an internet based business, and the website focuses on the 4 categories of health, lifestyle, nutrition, and food products. Only the food products will be sold, the other 3 categories will just be helpful information, but all 4 categories will be based upon what's happening in Hawaii. I want the website to be a type of escapism for people who are not in Hawaii, but who need a little dose of Hawaii. The logo is an important part of this because it's will be the 1st thing that people interact with, and therefore it's important that it captures the proper feeling.

The design text and tagline currently use LamboHmkBold (LHB) in yellow (C=0%, Y=10%, M=100%, K=0%). Sometimes I use a black outline around the letters, sometimes I don't. I depends on what makes it show up better on the background that it is being placed on top of. I like the way the LHB in yellow looks, but if you find something that you think works better, please use it. I list the LamboHmkBold just so you can see what I have done so far, and because it captures a feeling. Currently I'm using a photograph of a waterfall as my symbol. It has lush green growth in the foreground, background, and sides, with a white/blue waterfall in the center. It's beautiful and it shows up well on the blue background that I mention below that I use on my labels and business card, but since it's a photograph, it's too complex to work well as a symbol. My label designs and business card have the design name, tagline, and symbol on a blue background (somewhere between C=100%, Y=50%, M=0%, K=0% and C=100%, Y=70%, M=12%, K=0%). Letterheads, envelopes, won't have the blue background, but instead the design text, tagline, and logo will need to be easily readable on a white background. The logo on envelopes and letterheads is NOT very important. The logo for the website, and product labels IS very important. So the logo working on a blue background is more important than working on a white background.

Thank you so very much everyone. Your contributions have been truly impressive in many cases, and I know you've all spent significant time, and invested your talents in this. I'm now communicating with my other team members, and finalizing the winner. I will communicate again soon.

Designers - please take a look at the logos I've just uploaded. I need a symbol that is still understandable when used as a favicon in the tab bar of Firefox (very small), but which still looks good when larger on a business card or label. Also I would like it if the symbol were rectangular or square, not circular or oval.

Dear DJasaba, I definitely want to extend the time. I just don't know how right now. I need to call Mycroburst tomorrow and get instructions. I'm a little bit reluctant to guarantee, because none of the designs so far meet my requirements. I have just uploaded a sketch and several waterfall logos to provide a little more guidance.

How odd, I don't see any of the messages that I thought I had posted to the other designers. Let me try again. #17 & #16 - It's nice, but I really wanted a waterfall for the symbol. Would you mind giving it another try? #15 - It looks promising. Could you give me another design on the symbol, without the leaves around the outer edge, and perhaps a different style of waterfall so that I can have some choices to compare against. For some reason the leaves around the outside look like a Nero's crown to me. #14 & #13 & #7 - There's a beautiful elegance in the simplicity of your designs which I like very much, but I need a waterfall. Please apply your obviously excellent talent, one more time to design a waterfall for me. #12 - The waterfall is a little bit too bold. I'm looking for something a little less commanding. Would you be willing to give it another try? #10 & #11 - That's quite beautiful - not the waterfall I had requested, but I still like it. I'm not sure what suggestions to make on it right now. Perhaps some slight color tweaks, but let me think about it. #9 & #8 - I like what you've done with the waterfall very much, but the outer circle and banner and the bottom don't work for me. Could I get you to please make an iteration and expand on the waterfall and vegetation that appear in the center. Again, so far that's the nicest waterfall that I've see. Please expand on it. #5 - The symbol needs to be a waterfall. Thanks everyone for the work you've done so far. I can't do this kind of work myself. You gift is appreciated!

Attention Designers, MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you show 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if that draft gets finalized, each color version is separated before final files are sent out. Thanks, MB/LDG Team

I don't remember seeing any uploaded material when I read the brief, sorry for using wrong colors and wrong symbols.

#4 & #2 - If you'll take a look at the label, business card, and image that I've uploaded today, you'll get a better idea of the requirements on the coloring and what I've been using as a symbol so far. The symbols in #4 & #2 don't really work for me. The color choice on the letters I don't think will work either.

Just a general comment. It's not necessary to incorporate the letters N or H in the symbol. I'm really only expecting the nicest possible waterfall for a symbol, but if someone can figure out how incorporate the letters in the waterfall design and still have it look good, then that's a definite plus.
