Describe who/what this design is about

The design is for a pediatric cardiology business. Our current logo is very clip-arty. It's a mom and kid penguin with a heart on the kid penguin. Really want the new logo to pop.

The design should convey that we specialize in children's hearts but also that we are family oriented. We want a design that speaks to children and young teens.

I like the style of the mark of the penguins in #2. If it helps just want to say... not a fan of the cartoony look. Abstract, modern and professional if that helps at all.
