Include this tagline in my logo.

Describe who/what this design is about

We a small family owned business and we would like to update our logo for a more
professional, modern look. We want to have a new logo designed in a way that our
established clients will not be thrown off by the new look. We would also like to distinguish
ourselves from the Target store which people often mistake us for when they see our
current logo on our embroidered shirts.
You can find our current logo on our website www.targetyourpests.com. This was
something we drew up ourselves and would like a professional’s touch. The logo needs to
be designed in a way that will look good on all sorts of advertising; i.e. truck graphics,
business cards, embroidered shirts, etc.

Modern Gray, Red, White, Black (however we are open to alternative color choices)

How many colors do you want in your design?

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

One idea is to have the spider coming up from behind and on the target.
We do a lot of bee work, so maybe incorporate a bee somewhere. The other insects can be
changed or removed as needed.
Another idea we had is to have an animation of a professional technician spraying the
spider and the other insects scared.
We are pretty open minded about the design and would like to use this experience as an
opportunity to find something that we may not have thought about ourselves.

The project is over and now it's time to decide! There were many GREAT designs, but there were 3 that really stood out that we feel represents us well. They are: #272 joannebutterfly #247 caritolanda #232 dannymcgill Please give us a couple days to make our final decision. Thank you so much for all your hard work and we hope to see you again in our truck graphics project!

TO ALL DESIGNERS - It's been only 2 days and we've already got some real contenders. Just a few notes based on what we've received to help you see what we're looking for. COLOR COMBINATION - Red, black, gray, white like in #8 and #98. SHADING - We really want some shading to give the design a 3D look and make it pop. Please reference #21 and #53. The shading looks really nice and the design really pops off the page. FINISH - We'd love to have a glossy / glazed look to the logo. Please reference #87. They did a great job with the finish. BACKGROUND - Please keep all designs on a white background. All of our advertising / marketing supplies are on white backgrounds so it's easier for us to imagine using your designs if they are on white backgrounds. Keep up the great work. We love seeing all of your creations! Thank you!

photozee - The gloss / glazed effect you have in #87 is what we are looking for. Please correct the spelling to "Target" and resubmit with some different concepts. Thanks. nhormart - Thanks for the different options with the white out "T". It's nice to see both ways. HERO25 - The reflected look in #85 is cool, but having the arched text is more difficult to read so we would like to stay away from that.

HERO25 - The lettering you are using looks too much like neon lighting. Nice shading though. gward93 - #60 is really nice. Can you try some different lettering? It looks a little dainty but nice concept. rubios5 - #62 and #64 need to say "Pest Control" like in #53. nhormart - We really like #63 and how you put the "T" in the Target in the white. We would like to see a little bit of shading behind the target to make it stick out and see it on a white colored background. Very nice job! nethbnice - #70 is very cool. We like how you have the red that comes out of the lettering and to the ant. Can you try adding a the center of the target in a gray watermark? It doesn't have to go all the way around. Just follow the curve like you have it. And maybe some shading around the red. #72 we like the gloss effect that you used. Really makes it stand out. Needs to say "Pest Control". Same on #74.

caritolanda - Can you put some shading on the target in #37 to give it a 3D effect like #53 and #21? Ramstyle - Really love the shading you used in #21 to make it pop. We also like the blue you used.

To all Designers: We would prefer to stay away from a black background. This logo will be going on white trucks and on light blue shirts. Thank you for all your hard work. We are very impressed with the submittals so far. #46 - Could we see this design with a gray ring instead of black? aghninnin - I think we are going to stay away from a cartoonish look. Could you please submit some designs without the cartoon bugs? Thanks. parnell - Could you resubmit #13 with the words "Pest Control" bigger? caritolanda - #37 is really catching our eye! Great job! #29 and #31 would prefer without the dashes on the outside of the word "Pest Control". #53 - Really nice design! Could we see some gray in the design and our slogan "We Target your pests" maybe underneath the entire length of the logo? Thanks.

#20 - Really neat how you turned the target into a web. Very creative. We would like to see this design without the "T" in the spider and some different lettering. We really like how you highlighted the "GET" in "Target" so it looks like "Get Pest Control". Very inventive.

#13 - We really like this design. Very clean and simple but could we see some options with this same design with "Pest Control" a little bigger and maybe our slogan "We Target your pests". Thanks. #12 - This is pretty cool too but we are not crazy about the scorpion. Maybe try some different insects or no insects at all, but the design is good.

#10 - Like the humor in the animation. Very eye catching and you know immediately what we do. Designers, this logo will be put on a white service vehicle so you can use the color of the truck to enhance your designs. Thank you.

Thank you for all the submissions so far. We are excited about starting this project. However, please be sure to look at our website www.targetyourpests.com to see our current logo. We are an established small business in our community and we don't want to confuse our customers by swaying too far away from our current logo. We would like to see our logo but with a fresh concept. Thank you! #1 and #2 - We like the concept...very interesting. It needs to have "Pest Control" on it please. We like the mirror effect on #2 but prefer the red. Would like some gray...maybe on the "Pest Control"?? #7 - Really cool with the spider in the circle. Would like some gray accents somewhere. #8 - Really like the color combinations you used. Overall great start. Our slogan is "We Target your pests". We would like some options of it being incorporated in the design. Thanks again.
