Yes

Polecat Pines Mushroom Farm is a small family run farm. We would like a cross between a rustic design and something more elegant and stylized. Our name comes from our love for our pet ferrets (sometimes called polecats) and the stand of pine trees on our property. Our primary product is oyster mushrooms, which should be represented pictorially in the logo (see examples). Note that oyster mushrooms do not have a central stem, but are more shelf-like. We want to emphasize the freshness of our mushrooms.

sharl, thanks for clarifying that for everyone. Melody, I really do want the ferret included, but as sharl mentioned, placement is up to you. Other placements will be considered. If you have additional elements you would like to include, I'm open to all of everyone's ideas. That's why I'm not designing this logo myself -- I can barely draw a stick figure!

As we've seen some of the submissions evolve, we have decided that we would like to add the following to our logo: 1. The image of a ferret somewhere in the logo, maybe peeking out from behind a mushroom or cluster of mushrooms. The ferret should be of a playful nature. 2. Either the image of a pine tree somewhere in the logo. If you can make it work, perhaps one or more letters in "Polecat Pines" can be modified to look like a pine tree.

I forgot in my initial description to include the text "HIRAM, OHIO" to the logo, preferably at the very bottom. This text should be smaller than the other text, as long as it's big enough to be readable.

Attention Designers!! MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files. Thanks, MB/LDG/LS Team
