Positive Balance: new logo

Positive Balance

inspiring wellbeing from the inside out

Yes

Positive Balance is a wellbeing company, based firstly on yoga classes and now offering life coaching courses for people who want to find their passion, get a job they love, sort their life work balance and live and a life they love.

I help people be their happiest and healthiest best. It's about transformation of self, and transformation of health. We also coach people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome back to wellness. It's very cool stuff :)

I would like to logo to be about wellness and transformation and inspiration. It's not the tradiditional yoga studio with a lotus flower, I am looking for something much more broadly about enhancing life and health please.

I am really open to a complete rework, the old logo is pretty unwieldy, looks dated and also has no icon that can be used in any other marketing applications.

My students and clients are wonderful people...and about 30% of students are guys so it needs to be applicable and engaging to both sexes. They are generally professionals and appreciate the Positive Balance approach which brings them yoga and coaching in a really accessible and non-hippy way.

Okay, so have had a 'corporate' (ugrh) colour of purple since Positive Balance launched in 2005, but it's limiting as it's just one colour. Keen to expand into a colour pallete of that least 3 or 4 colours that can be used more widely. Need to keep the purple in some way for continuitity but it REALLY needs to evolve so please use your imagination! This logo will inspire a site redesign which is pretty exciting too.

not sure

No lotus flowers or korus perleeeease! Whatever you think inspires people about making that decision to put some positive balance in their lives!

#20. I really love the colour pallette but I specifically don't want a lotus flower, as in breif it's too 'yoga' and not broad enough. Please cna you rethink the icon...balance/inspiration/positivity/transformation/wellness not just straight yoga. Thankyou!

#59...please can you change that handwritten font to something that is more kind of scrawled script, plus give me a couple of options in terms of laying out the icon on top/ to the left/right...thankyou :)

#22 and #21 I like the feel of this, really approachable, feminibe without being girly and nice colour pallete. Not sure what the squiggles are though...could you refine that please!

Dear Designers, thanks so muuch for your designs so far, I really appreciate yrou work. I am so keen to get a great new logo to move my brand forward but none of these is hitting the mark yet. I provided a really detailed brief and am more than happy to ask any questions you have on that brief too. Please let your creativity and imagination flow!

#4. It's okay. It doesn't have the continuity of colour pallete as per the brief. It doesnt feel as approachable as a brand as I would like. #5. Same as #4 re: colour pallete. The font seems 'hard' for wellbeing, and the figure is yoga only rather than a more rounded wellbeing offering. Sorry :( #6. Thanks. As per brief I want to avoid the traditional yoga logo of a lotus flower/om as it's a wider wellbeing brand.

#1. Thanks, but sorry this is just not my style at all. The colour pallet isn't inspiring and the image is, for me, the 'hippy' yoga thing I was trying to avoid. Sorry :( #2. Thanks. It's okay. Not keen on the balancing figure as that is purely yoga and doesn't incorporate the wider theme of wellbeing and coaching I want to achieve. #3. Sorry this is so corporate. It's good, but would suit a regional sport coucil or something perfectly but not Positive Balance.
