Describe who/what this design is about

We are a full service Sign Company mainly deals in all type of Out door signage. We also do interior signage and have future plans to do Point of Purchase Printing Systems. We like our current logo and theme that it has, but wanted to get a refresh look that will bring more modern look and cutting edge to it. Our current logo could be seen at www.unitysigns.com. We are very impressed with what UPS has done with its logo when they refreshed their logo. Google image UPS logo and you could see the difference.

Since we are looking for Texas look in it, we think that Blue and Red should be there. If creativity calls for additional color(s), then by all means use it.

Some very good designs so far. Kindly incorporate following in your design, if you are not doing it yet: 1. Add Tag Line 2. Present single color logo as well, as logo MUST be effective in single color.

In my previous comment, I made an error. We wanted to see all upper caps in draft # 9 and not in #8. In #8 if font style could be more professional, simple and edgy, then it will become a very good logo

Draft #8, 9 & 10 are all very good. Could you please make "Unity Signs" in all caps in draft #8. We all like the clever idea of using ribbon for multiple meanings. Letter "U" & "S" are there, Lone Star is leading the way. Could you make that in single color as well. Great Work folks. Keep on coming.

Draft #7: No need to put Texas flag. We are looking for Texas flavor only in the logo. Star is over powering the name of Unity Signs.

Any design that is posted must have following consideration: 1. Is it Simple? 2. Is it Memorable? 3. Is logo still effective if it is printed… a. in one color? b. in reverse color (i.e. light logo on dark background)? c. on to a postage stamp or a pen? d. on a billboard?
