Areas of expertise include science, statistics, finance, forecasting, computer systems, data-management, documentation, editing, technical writing, prototyping and publishing.
history

Founded in 1995 in Philadelphia to provide professional investment managers with specialized statistical analysis services. Relocated operations to the Bay Area in 1997. In 2005 the company began a three-year SmartParking project with BART, Caltrans and UC Berkeley which led to the development of hardware and other technologies for parking management.

    The design metaphor is 'mechanical advantage' as in one of man's earliest inventions: the lever and fulcrum . A single triangle works better than stacked triangles. 'Research' should be on the longer side of the lever; 'advantage on the shorter.
