Transforming the care of sexual assualt survivors

No

Carlo-

You were the winner of the logo contest we initiated a few months ago (see your attached winning design). Because sexual assault is a sensitive subject we wanted to show your logo to a focus group of survivors to get their opinion. The majority did like the design, but a substantial number, 20%, were not comfortable. Therefore, we have decided to see if you might work with us to come up with another version. Below I have included the positive and negative feedback and I have also attached the files for you.

Please let me know if this is agreeable to you and if we might work together on a re-design. I have cc my colleagues on this as they will also want to review any new ideas

Positive Feedback

• Like the colors

• Like the Abstract Notion

• Like Circular Aspect, But Could Try Linear

• Like Tag Line and Text

• Like the professional/global appearance

Negative Feedback

• Breast w Nipple (hole) (Some in our focus group thought they saw the shape of a breast)

• Looks like Planet Saturn (Several in the focus group mentioned this)

• Does not convey caring (We wanted to avoid anything literal, like hearts etc.)

• Try more linear design

We are still looking for an abstract design rather than a literal one. We want to avoid “classic” medical symbols like the red cross, a stethoscope or the winged caduceus symbol. The design could be more linear than rounded perhaps?

Best regards,

Chris
